How to Subscribe to Tax Policy Center RSS Feeds
What is TPC RSS?
Tax Policy Center RSS is a way for users of the TPC website to have web content delivered to them, and for the Tax Policy Center to share content. Think of it as your own research news feed. You can select any number of RSS feeds and have subjects, descriptions, and links to the relevant TPC web page delivered to you as they become available.
How does RSS work?
o use RSS, you will need a special RSS news reader or aggregator that will allow you to collect and display RSS "feeds." You may download a news reader (many are free) or use a newsreader that allows you to add your feeds directly to a webpage—no download required. Either way, the news readers keep all of your feeds in one place and update your content automatically.
How Do I Subscribe?
To subscribe to a feed, you have to tell your RSS reader where to find it. Follow these two steps:
- Determine the location, or URL, for the feed. Right-click (or press CTRL while clicking on some computers) on the RSS link beside a topic. Select "Copy Link Location," "Copy Link" or "Copy Shortcut" (whichever choice shows up) to copy the address of the feed.
- Open your news reader and paste the feed's address into the reader as it directs you.
