Serena Lei is responsible for reporting and writing feature stories to share Urban Institute insights with a broad audience. In collaboration with Urban scholars, she also writes and provides substantive editing for research publications, blog posts, and other digital content. Before joining Urban, she was a reporter and received her master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
