This Week’s Guest: Caroline Bruckner
The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center is holding a series of online conversations on policy responses to the COVID-19 economy. The discussions take place every other Thursday afternoon and feature experts with various perspectives on the historic economic challenges the United States and the world are facing and the best ways to address them.
This week, our guest is Caroline Bruckner (@CaroBruckner). Bruckner was chief counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship during the 2008 recession and is currently managing director of the Kogod School of Business Tax Policy Center at American University. She’ll talk with TPC senior fellow, Howard Gleckman (@howard_gleckman), about the economic effects of the pandemic, especially on women business owners.
