This Week’s Guest: Kimberly A. Clausing, Thormund A. Miller and Walter Mintz Professor of Economics, Reed College

The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center (TPC) is holding a series of online conversations on policy responses to the COVID-19 economy. This week, our guest is Kimberly A. Clausing (@KClausing), Thormund A. Miller and Walter Mintz professor of economics at Reed College and author of Open: The Progressive Case for Free Trade, Immigration, and Global Capital. She’ll talk with TPC senior fellow Howard Gleckman (@howard_gleckman) about the pandemic’s influence on potential corporate and international tax reforms, and its effects on the US economy, the federal debt, and global trade and capital flows.
