The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center is holding a series of online conversations on tax and fiscal policy in today’s economy. This week’s guest is Liz Farmer, a fellow at the Rockefeller Institute of Government and consultant at Funkhouser & Associates. She will discuss her latest research on the hiring and staffing challenges facing state and local governments despite strong revenue growth and federal aid.
