The Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center is holding a series of online conversations on tax and fiscal policy in today’s economy. The discussions take place every other Thursday afternoon and feature varying perspectives on the historic economic challenges facing the United States and the world and the best ways to address them.

This week's guest is Rohit Kumar, former deputy chief of staff and domestic policy director for Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell. Now a principal and coleader of the Washington National Tax Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he will discuss the major tax changes under discussion as part of the $3.5 trillion reconciliation package making its way through Congress.
