Tax policy matters to everyone, but tax policy debates often emphasize rhetoric over substance and fiction over fact. There's too little honest information that people can trust. The Tax Policy Center works to fill the gap. For over a decade, we have conducted independent, nonpartisian analyses of tax and budget policy issues and then shared our findings with policymakers, journalists, advocacy groups, and citizens. Our goal is simple - to ensure that everyone has access to accurate information about how our tax system works and how changes in our tax code will affect taxpayers and the federal budget. By supporting the Center, you help inform the debate about America's fiscal future.
